Diamond Is Unbreakable may have gotten its own escape game recently, but earlier generations aren’t being ignored. Japan’s Real Escape Game company has opened a new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure experience, this one based on Stardust Crusaders.
The company is no stranger to anime adaptations, with previous projects spanning the worlds of Detective Conan, Space Brothers, and Pokémon. Their previous JoJo escape game turned a theme park into Morioh circa 1999, inviting visitors to become a part of the series’s fourth story arc.
Escape from JoJo’s Bizarre Pavilion will start in SCRAP Secret Base in Harajuku, and then spread to 23 more locations across Japan. Venues will be turned into confusing labyrinths filled with enemy Stands attempting to keep visitors from escaping. Among them will be one brand-new Stand, created specifically for the event and visible only to players of the escape game. Some of the season’s original voice actors (to be announced at a later date) will also be lending their voices to the event.
Teams of 6 will have 60 minutes to solve puzzles, navigate the labyrinth, and defeat Stands to make their escape.
The first location opens November 2. More information is available on the official website.
