These images show police and forensics at work at the scene in Cotton Drive in Hertford, after a man was found dead in a residential street.
The police and ambulance service arrived shortly before 8.25am (December 17) and a man aged 30 years old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are currently treating the death as “unexplained”.
A police cordon remains in place as forensics officers carry out their work under the cover of a tent.
Cotton Drive and part of Stanstead Road are currently closed off by police tape manned by uniformed officers, marked vans and cars.
A police spokeswoman said: “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and the scene remains cordoned off to allow investigations to take place.
“Anyone who has any information about what may have happened is asked to contact police on 101.”
A police spokeswoman appealed for any member of the pulbic with information about the death to phone the police non-emergency number 101.
